Angelina Jolie has been seen visiting a Waterstones bookshop, with her children Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, during her recent trip to London.
Jolie has been in the capital for the fifth anniversary of the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative (PSVI) that she helped to set up in 2012. Jolie partnered up with then-British foreign secretary William Hague to prevent the use of rape and sexual violence as a means of terror during wars and conflict.
As part of her visit, Jolie and her son Maddox were given a private tour of Buckingham Palace.
Earlier in the day the mother of six was seen browsing the shelves of the bookshop and helping eight-year-old daughter Vivienne to pick out some books. “She bought about 30 books,” said an onlooker. “Mostly coloring books, a Harry Potter book, plus some book markers and Easter-themed project books.”
On Monday, Jolie, who is going through a divorce with actor Brad Pitt, spoke at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on how to protect vulnerable people across the world.
She was also spotted visiting Hamleys toy store in London on Sunday and will be heading to Geneva on Wednesday to continue her humanitarian work and deliver the Annual Sergio Vieira de Mello Memorial Lecture at the United Nations Assembly Hall.
