Who says a man can't multitask? George Osborne, a super dooper plutocrat, is an MP, booster of the Northern powerhouse, BlackRock adviser – and now editor of the Evening Standard. The appointment came as a surprise, but once the shock settled it all seemed obvious. Osborne is perhaps Britain’s pre-eminent Remainer. The Evening Standard is a Remain paper in what's regarded as Britain’s most Remain city. I’m guessing this has something to do with Remain.
