Creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, Daniel Palladino and star Rachel Brosnahan tell Catherine Gee why their Golden Globe-winning comedy is set among the female comedians of the Fifties – and whether Gilmore Girls will be back

Amy Sherman-Palladino is exhausted and she’s not afraid to show it. “I'm going to have a nervous breakdown today at three. It's on the schedule,” she says dryly.

She and Daniel Palladino, her husband and fellow producer, writer and director, are in London to talk about The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, their brand new, Fifties-set comedy drama series that arrived on Amazon Prime Video November 29, a mere 369 days after their enormously anticipated Gilmore Girls revival premiered on Netflix.
