Save 20% on tickets to the Giacometti exhibition at Tate Modern
Telegraph subscribers save 20% on tickets to Tate Modern's landmark Giacometti retrospective, only £13.44 with this exclusive discount (usual price £16.80). The exhibition will run from May 10 - September 10, 2017.
Celebrated as a sculptor, painter and draughtsman, Giacometti’s distinctive elongated figures are some of the most instantly recognisable works of modern art. This exhibition reasserts Giacometti’s place alongside the likes of Matisse, Picasso and Degas as one of the great painter-sculptors of the twentieth century.
This is the UK’s first major retrospective of Alberto Giacometti for 20 years and brings together over 250 works and plaster works and drawings that have never been seen before. It showcases the full evolution of Giacometti’s career across five decades, from early works such as Head of a Woman.
Giacometti is being presented in The Eyal Ofer Galleries , supported by Maryam and Edward Eisler, with additional support from the Giacometti Exhibition Supporters Circle, Tate Patrons, Tate Americas Foundation and Tate Members.
