Exclusive meal and ticket package for The Comedy About A Bank Robbery

Telegraph subscribers can see The Comedy About A Bank Robbery and enjoy a meal with a cocktail at Gordon Ramsay’s Heddon Street Kitchen for only £64.50.

When The Comedy About A Bank Robbery arrived in London’s West End in 2016, The Telegraph’s Dominic Cavendish gave the show a five-star review. “I emerged with a big, silly, rather sheepish smile on my face,” he wrote. “No mincing words: this is the funniest show in the West End. Mischief Theatre have parked a third crowd-pleaser in the heart of Theatreland. The jokes, visual and verbal, are piled skyscraper-high.

“I loved the beautifully timed slapstick. You keep thinking this is as good as it gets – then it gets better. Is this a show that says smart things about the banking crisis? Not a jot. Does it deliver swag-loads of pleasure and thoroughly deserve to make a mint? Absolutely. If it doesn’t run for yonks, call me The Critic That Goes Wrong.”

The play is set in the summer of 1958. Minneapolis City Bank has been entrusted with a priceless diamond. An escaped convict is set on pocketing the gem with the help of his screwball sidekick, trickster girlfriend and the maintenance man. With mistaken identities, love triangles and hidden agendas, even the most reputable can’t be trusted. In a town where everyone’s a crook, who will end up bagging the jewel?

The Comedy About A Bank Robbery was created by Mischief Theatre, a multi-award-winning group of performers. In the nine years since forming, Mischief Theatre has produced The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About A Bank Robbery. All three have been nominated for the Olivier Award for Best New Comedy.
