Don’t miss your chance to save £10 on the top three ticket bands to Last Night of the Spring Proms, which is taking place at the Royal Festival Hall on Saturday, April 29 at 7.30pm. Tickets are available to subscribers for only £22.50, £29.50 or £33.50.

The audience will be treated to classics including Ravel’s Bolero, Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake Finale, Strauss’ Blue, Sibelius’ Finlandia, Bizet’s Farandole from L’arlesienne, and the elegant O soave fanciulla from Puccini’s La bohème.

“La bohème (The Bohemians) has been massively popular with audiences since it was first performed in 1896,” writes Sameer Rahim in The Telegraph. “Atmospheric, concisely plotted and with a great aria or duet just round the corner, the opera has a sophisticated construction not easily visible on first viewing. Though it has inspired works such as the musical Rent and Baz Luhrmann’s syrupy film Moulin Rouge, Puccini’s original far surpasses its derivatives.”

No ‘Last Night’ would be complete without the perennial favourites Rule Britannia!, Jerusalem, Nessun Dorma and Land of Hope and Glory. Feel free to join in and sing along at those flag-waving moments, because that is what makes a ‘Last Night’ concert feel so special for the orchestra, choir and audiences alike.

The soloists will be award-winning soprano Sky Ingram, tenor Adrian Dwyer and prolific Korean-born British violin soloist Joo Yeon Sir, recipient of many coveted awards. They will all perform under the baton of Stephen Bell accompanied by the London Philharmonic Choir and London Concert Orchestra.
